After our successful menopause workshop in 2023, we have expanded the content into a series of three parts for 2024.
  
 In this upcoming series, we will look at menopause through the lens of the three pillars of life in Ayurveda: food, sleep and sex. Each class will focus on one of these in-depth, with guidance on how to balance that area from an Ayurvedic point of view. We’ll also facilitate small group discussions, so that you can connect with each other and leave time for questions, too.
 
Each session will be held at the shop from 6-7:30 with flexibility for lingering conversations.
 

Session 1 - Jan 24: Food

Digestion is the pillar of health in Ayurveda, so we have to start there when we talk about menopause. We’ll cover the foundational principles of digestion in Ayurveda, as well as what happens during menopause, including weight gain, and how to address it without engaging in diet culture or rigidity. You’ll leave with an understanding of the core principles of Ayurvedic digestive health, how it relates to the global health of the body during menopause, and simple remedies to address the most common imbalances.
