We are excited to announce our first gathering in what feels like an eternity.
We will be hosting an art reception for
I met Hanni when she came to the shop a little over a year ago. Hanni ended up purchasing a lovely pedestal made by Veva Edelson and was kind enough to send me a photo of it in its new environment. My exact response was “Holy cow…Who did the wall installation?” Turns out, it is hers. Hanni is owner of Lilify in Monterey and an artist. Or maybe it's in reverse. An artist that also owns Lilify in Monterey. Most of her work hangs in her gorgeous shop. Not for sale, just to inform the aesthetic. This will be Hanni's first show. Ever. I couldn't be more happy and honored that she will be having it here.
Please join us October 15 from 4 until around 6pm.
A bit about the artist...
Hanni Liliedahl was raised in Alaska and educated in New York City. Before settling on California’s Central Coast she worked in South Africa and Japan and served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Guyana.
In 2012, she opened Lilify, her artisan shop in Monterey.
When not in her shop or in her studio, Hanni is in her garden or loving on her son.
