These beautiful sheep skins are locally raised by our very own Sarah Kaiser in Penngrove. The sheep live their lives outside providing vegetation management services to their communities.  They are helping to keep Sonoma County safe from wildfires!

These hides are also climate beneficial, a label that demonstrates these animals were raised in a manner that is good for the planet. The grazing practices increase soil organic carbon levels, enhance biodiversity by providing habitat for pollinators, birds, and many other species, improve the water-holding capacity of the soil, restore healthy ecosystems all the way from the soil microbiome to upper nutrient cycles, and provide measurable climate benefits that are quantified by open-source data tools!

They are naturally tanned using zero chromium or other harsh environmentally toxic chemicals.
