A new-for-us ceramicist. Matt Fishman.

Matt Fishman is a Berkeley based artist. His background in the culinary arts, as well as his upbringing in the Bay Area. And what he makes does feel very Bay Area. It is very reminiscent of the art + home goods my Grandmother and all her arty friends would make in San Anselmo back in the 60s and 70s. They are cool and they have soul. Matt actually collects clay and glaze materials throughout the region. I think that makes his work extra special. 

These little bud vases look great as a set. The fit small buds or blooming twigs. Or feathers. We are currently out of the large, but more are on their way.
