June 11th from 1 - 4pm.

Every item we sell is intended to be a hardworking heirloom - this includes our clothing! We want you to be able to live and work with everything we offer. Which is why we feel a mending class is a perfect companion to our mission.

Our upcoming mending Class With Caron Dunn is the perfect opportunity to learn all the basics of mending and keeping your clothing in good repair.

In this 3 hour workshop you will learn how to sew on a button the correct way, how to repair a split seam, a hem that's come undone, and when and how to patch a piece of clothing in either a subtle or deliberate way. Caron will talk about appropriate thread and tools for all of these applications. There will also be time after class if you would like to bring a piece of clothing that needs a mend and Caron can help you with where to begin.

All materials included, but if you would like to bring along your own small sharp scissors that would be lovely.

You will go home with the samples you create, a block of beeswax for thread, needle and thread.

With its hands-on approach, you’ll get the expertise and confidence you need to manage minor clothing damages.

Caron is an incredibly talented multidisciplinary artist and we are lucky to have her lead this class!

Class limited to 6.
