A new brand for us that we are super excited about! Bird Of Flight. Made with soft, vegetable-tanned leathers and natural finishes, so each pair is made to last and love.

Named for Stinson Beach, this style is as natural as it gets. Crafted from undyed crust leather sourced from Brazil and tanned chrome-free leather that will garner a lovely patina with time and use.

A center-front seam runs the length of the shoe, a quiet design detail that adds structure without taking away from the simplicity of the leather. Inside, a full leather-covered footbed offers soft, supportive comfort from the first step, while the leather outsole carries our bird logo, embossed by hand into every pair.

Stinson is handmade in a small, family-owned factory in Brazil, produced in limited batches to keep the craftsmanship — and the quality — exactly where it should be. Wear them in, and they'll only get better: softer, more supple, and more beautifully worn-in with time.

The Stinson runs large. We recommend sizing down one half size for the best fit.

Hello from Bird of Flight!

I'm Naomi, the founder, designer, and dreamer behind our woman-owned shoe brand here in the Bay Area. From designing each collection to ensuring you have an amazing experience with us, I pour my heart into every detail.

My vision is to create shoes that feel as good as they look, complementing your individual beauty and style. We use insanely soft, vegetable-tanned leathers and natural finishes, so each pair is made to last and love.

We consciously stand against the "fast fashion" cycle. Our collections are produced in small batches in family-owned Brazilian factories where craftspeople are paid fair, livable wages. We follow strict environmental standards, use as little plastic as possible in the making and shipping of our shoes.  I aim to create shoes that not only look beautiful, feel amazing but will also  safely return to the earth.

The name "Bird of Flight" is personal to me—it captures the magical feeling of soaring in my dreams and a special connection to my grandmother. I love that our shoes can be a part of your journey.
