This new beauty has been two years in the making.
In the summer of 2024, my husband and I visited Uluṟu in the heart of Australia, where a little noodle shop packed their takeout in the most perfect little paper bags. I loved the shape. So, naturally, we decided to make one in leather.
The original paper bag somehow got thrown away after I carried it all the way home, so it took a fair amount of trial and error to get the proportions right.
But we finally did it!
Inspired by a humble paper takeout bag and made in our beautiful vegetable-tanned leather.
It’s simple, useful, and quietly beautiful.
